Commissioned by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), Dr. Amjed Ghanem conducted an organizational assessment based on the European excellence model to reach a level of "committed to excellence" from the EFQM. After the assessment process, a summary of the outcome was presented with a detailed assessment report that demonstrated the Authority's ability and meet the requirements of the certification scheme. The certificate was awarded in April 2014.
