This project aims to develop a strategic development plan and a physical plan for the Municipality of Etihad. The methodology adopted in the preparation of the strategic development plan was based on the principle of community participation in all phases of strategic development planning. The project helps to make positive and important changes in the relationship between the municipality and the institutional and community sectors, thus enabling the local community to self-reliance in the formulation of future decisions and plans, thus creating sustainable local economic, social, political and environmental development.
